Welcome to Forró Tuesday! This is going to be another special evening! Forró Foundations is happy to present Kevinn Costa all the way from Vila Velha, Brazil! ABOUT KEVINN: "It's not the rhythm or the steps that make forró, but the passion within the soul of the one who dances." Kevinn Costa first came into contact with forró at Escola Adwalter Ribeiro Soares in 2005. In 2013, at the age of 16, he was part of the Companhia de Ballet Art e Vida, in Colatina – ES, where he remained until 2015. In 2016, when he turned 19, he discovered his passion for Forró Pé de Serra and since then, he has been dedicating himself and improving himself in this modality. In 2018, he began to teach individual private lessons and for groups, as well as in venues around Vitória - ES. Currently, at the age of 26, he lives in the city of Vila Velha - ES, where he develops many of his activities related to Forró. In 2019, he was happy to start a dream, in which he idealized and put into practice the “Rasta Pé no Mar” project. Today, “Rasta Pé No Mar” promotes classes and events at Correria Music Bar and Cyclists Square. For participation in the same classes, the monthly fee is of a social nature: 1 kg of food/month, for donation to social institutions. He also taught workshops at events such as Nata Forrozeira/2019 (SP); Coffee Brasil/2019 (Itaúnas/ES), Forró da Alegria Festival 2019/2021 (Sana/RJ), Buraco do armadillo/2019 (Itaúnas/ES), Brasil Roots/2021 (Vila Velha ES) Forró London 2020/22 (England), Tome Forró Berlin/2022 (Germany), Baião Paname Paris/2022 (France), Rome Roots Marathon/2022 (Italy) and in other countries like Switzerland, Spain, Belgium and Poland in the year 2022. He says he feels fulfilled in being involved with what he loves, and still, taking with much love the knowledge that he has been acquiring in this time of dedication to his studies and his improvement of this culture, thus being able to disseminate it in its breadth, in addition to opening possibilities to provide new people with a welcoming community and a new professional activity.
