WEEKLY GROUP CLASSES
Join us for our weekly Forró Roots classes in London!
Our Beginner & Intermediate level forró dance courses follow a 4 week structure. You always have the option of joining at the beginning of the course, or coming for a single drop in class at any time.
Classes are held on Tuesdays at the following location:
Academy Mews Dance Studios (Artshouse London), 15 Pratt Mews, London, NW1 0AD

Beginner Classes
An introduction to Forró and the basic movements which will form the foundation of your dance as you progress each week.
Chinedu - Teacher
Founder of Forró Foundations, teacher, DJ and event organiser. His goal is to spread the dance, music and culture far and wide.
Intermediate Classes
Let's take it to the next level! Movements become more intricate as we take a more detailed look at the world of Roots Style Forró.
Graziela - Teacher
Amazing energy, enthusiasm and technique, Graziela has been a well known face on the Forró scene for many years. Always there to help!
Guest Teacher Workshops
We regularly invite guest teachers from Brazil and Europe to lead our classes and share their knowledge and culture.
Jonathan - Teacher
Jonathan teaches Forró across the UK with several Forró communites and is known for his detailed and clear communication of ideas & movement.
Private Classes
Private classes allow for an even more bespoke teaching approach tailored to the individual.
