About the event
Join us for our first Forró in Floripa event of 2024. We are looking forward to bringing you a night of the best forró pe de serra to keep you dancing all night long, from two of London's most well known Forró DJs.
Both DJ's have played for audiences around the world, and we are looking forward to having them on the London stage! Quality GUARANTEED!
ABOUT DJ SANGUIM
DJ Sanguim joined forró pé de serra 26 years ago, when he discovered Itaúnas and fell in love with both music and dance. He was born in Governador Valadares, a city in the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil, but has had a permanent home in Vila de Itaúnas for almost 10 years. Before the main event, from 6.30pm - 7.30pm, we will have a Higher Intermediate Level Forró Roots Dance Masterclass with with the Director of Forró Foundations, Chinedu Okoye. This class is aimed at Intermediate to Advanced level dancers who have previously danced forró. This ticket also includes access to all parts of the main event, including a free introductory forró class at the beginning of the night from 7.45pm - 8.30pm.
