ABOUT DJ CACIASSA:

Dj Caciassa, originally from Rome, is an Italian with a Brazilian soul. He first discovered Forró and Brazilian rhythms in 2005, during a trip to South America. Since then he has regularly visited Brazil.

 In 2016 he began to become seriously interested in Forró pé de serra. First as a dancer, learning at the "Forró Roma" school and then as a DJ getting people to dance since in Italy the movement was developing very quickly. He collaborated with "Forró Roma" and the Brazilian Embassy in Rome, promoting and participating in cultural events to promote Forró.

 Lover of the roots style, he likes the classics of pé de serra but with an open mind to new things and the styles of Samba, Funk and Electronica. Recently he performed at shows by Conterraneos, Fabiano Santana, Mari Melo, Trio Estopim, Everton Coroné, Os Improbáveis, Peças de Zé, Os 3 do Nordeste, Os 4 Mensageiros, Trio Juazeiro, Jorge do Rojao, Trio Dona Zefa, Janaina Pereira, Trio Maribondo, Alvorada, Trio Xamego, Mestrinho, Assisão, playing in Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain, France, England, Czech Republic, Turkey, Sweden, United States and Brazil.

 Frequenter of the biggest festivals in Europe (4 editions of Baião Lisboa 2019-2021-2022-2022 Summer edition, 2 editions of Miudinho Berlin 2021-2022, Forró London Festival 2024, Forró Douro Porto 2024 to mention just a few) and Brazil. He has been to Itaúnas 10 times, playing at the “forro da padaria” at Fenfit 2019 and in summer 2022, Café Brasil at New Year's Eve 2020 and Buraco do Tatu at the Matrizes 2022 festival! 

In 2023 he received the honor of being the first non-Brazilian DJ invited to play  on the Fenfit stage, the biggest Forró festival in the world. Soon after, he performed at the first edition of the Caraiva Festival and at the 2023 Bar Forró summer festival. He was invited by some of the best-known DJs on the Brazilian circuit (Vhinny, Dioh, Messias, Xeleleu, Baile dos Ratos, Coletivo Bicho Grilo, Quinta do Baião) to play in the biggest forro clubs (Remelexo SP, Ziriguidum BH, Democraticos and Forró do Cantinho RJ, Casa da Felicidade BA...). In 2023 he was invited as a guest DJ at the New York Forró Festival, the biggest forrozeiro event in the United States.
